Aurelia Build (“Aurelia Build”, “we”, “us” or “our”) sources building materials, kitchen and bath products, doors and windows, lighting and furniture for residential, hospitality, commercial and distribution projects. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and through the business channels we use with buyers, designers, contractors and partners, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you.

Scope of this policy

This policy covers this website and the enquiries, quotations and project correspondence we handle as a sourcing partner. It does not cover platforms we do not control. If you contact us through a third-party app or marketplace, the privacy policy of that platform also applies to what happens there.

Information we collect

Information you give us

The catalogue is open to browse and you do not need to register an account or submit an online form. When you email us, message us on WhatsApp or discuss a project with our team, you may choose to share:

contact details such as your name, company, role, email address and phone or messaging number;
project details such as product categories, quantities, sizes, materials, finishes, target market, destination port and required delivery dates;
documents you decide to send, for example drawings, schedules, bills of quantities, colour references, packing marks and photographs;
commercial information needed to prepare a quotation or process an order, such as invoicing details and trade terms.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting and security providers may record technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages viewed, and the date and time of your visit. We use this data in aggregate to keep the site available, secure and useful, and to understand which product categories buyers look for most.

Information from other sources

If you approach us through a messaging platform or a trade directory, we may receive the profile information and message content that the platform makes available to us. We may also consult publicly available company information when assessing whether a project is a good fit for our supply network.

How we use information

We use the information described above to:

answer enquiries and prepare specifications, samples, packing proposals and quotations;
coordinate production, inspection, consolidation, documentation and shipping milestones with our suppliers and forwarders;
keep a record of what was quoted, sampled, approved and delivered, so a project can be picked up again without starting from zero;
operate, monitor and protect the website against misuse and technical abuse;
meet accounting, tax, export and customs obligations;
send occasional business updates where you have asked for them, with an unsubscribe option in every message.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use the drawings, specifications or other documents you send us to market products to third parties.

Cookies and analytics

This is a static informational website and it does not set advertising or profiling cookies. If a live-chat widget, embedded media or analytics tool is enabled, it may place a cookie or local storage entry on your device so that preferences are remembered and traffic can be measured. Those tools load only as part of the site configuration, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking cookies may affect some features.

We share information only as far as it is needed to answer your enquiry or fulfil an order:

with manufacturers, mills and finishing partners producing the items you asked about;
with forwarders, customs brokers, inspection and logistics partners arranging the movement of goods;
with hosting, email, messaging and IT providers that support our day-to-day operations;
with professional advisers such as auditors, accountants and lawyers;
with authorities where we are legally required to do so, for example when preparing export documentation.

Service providers act on our instructions and are expected to protect the information they handle. Where a project requires it, we can sign a confidentiality undertaking before you share drawings.

International transfers

We operate from China and work with suppliers, inspection partners and buyers in many countries. Information you send us may therefore be stored or processed outside your country of residence. Where a transfer requires it, we use contractual and organisational safeguards, and we keep the number of parties holding your documents to the minimum needed for the order.

How long we keep information

Enquiries that do not become orders: up to 24 months, so that a project can be resumed;
quotations, order and shipping records: as long as accounting, tax and export rules require, typically five to ten years;
website technical logs: a short rolling period, usually no more than twelve months;
marketing preferences: until you withdraw them.

Custom drawings and similar commercially sensitive documents are returned or deleted when a project ends, unless a legal obligation requires us to keep them.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent at any time, including consent to receive business updates. To make a request, write to hello@aureliabuild.com and tell us which country you are contacting us from. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and we will not treat a request as a reason to stop discussing an active order.

Security

We use access controls, encrypted connections and internal procedures to protect the information we hold. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please send signed contracts and payment confirmations through the channel we have confirmed with you in writing, and tell us immediately if you believe your information has been misused.
